CLOSURES

• Generally, but not in all cases, CPCD will follow the snow closing and delay policies of the school districts. In case of inclement weather, employees and families will be advised by media announcements as early as possible in the morning. In some cases, at the discretion of the President/CEO, staff will be scheduled to work although the CPCD centers may be closed. 

• If a school district or site is closed or delayed due to inclement weather, all CPCD classes (and the Teachers, Education Assistants and Transportation Technicians) in that district or site are closed or delayed accordingly. 

• CPCD will close or delay all offices and classrooms if Harrison School District 2 AND Colorado Springs School District 11 closes or delays.

 

 

2-HOUR DELAY

• Morning half-day classes are cancelled.

• Afternoon half-day classes will be in session at the regularly scheduled time and bus routes will remain the same.

• Extended Day classes will begin 2 hours later than your regularly scheduled time and will dismiss at the regular scheduled time.

• Early Head Start classes will begin 2 hours later than your regularly scheduled time and will dismiss 2 hours later than your regularly scheduled time.

 

 

TRANSPORTATION

• Bus routes will run 2 hours later than your regularly scheduled time.
